Building and Grounds Supervisor supervises and trains building and grounds maintenance staff. Oversees landscaping activities, the maintenance of sidewalks and parking areas, and the removal of trash and snow. Being a Building and Grounds Supervisor maintains and monitors the operation of all utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning. May be responsible for the housekeeping staff. Additionally, Building and Grounds Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Position Description:
The Project Manager's primary role is to provide overall administrative and technical direction for projects. Working closely with the team (specifically with the Project Executive & Superintendent), the PM will manage all phases of project delivery including cost management, budget forecasting, scheduling and subcontract negotiations. The PM is responsible for leading all aspects of a project's construction phase and serves as the point person for daily interaction with the client and design team.
