Building and Grounds Supervisor jobs in Frankfort, KY
Building and Grounds Supervisor supervises and trains building and grounds maintenance staff. Oversees landscaping activities, the maintenance of sidewalks and parking areas, and the removal of trash and snow. Being a Building and Grounds Supervisor maintains and monitors the operation of all utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning. May be responsible for the housekeeping staff. Additionally, Building and Grounds Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Requirements

- Make ready units for new move‐ins- including, but not limited to: painting, carpet cleaning, repairs and maintenance
- Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
- Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance
- Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping
- Pool maintenance required
Compensation Package Details:
- 2-Bed/2-Bath Apartment= $12,180/year ($5.86/hour)
- Hourly Pay= $22,880/year ($11/hour)
- Total Compensation Package= $35,060/year ($16.86/hour)
Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.

Pay: $32,989.00 per year
