Building and Grounds Supervisor jobs in Stamford, CT
Building and Grounds Supervisor supervises and trains building and grounds maintenance staff. Oversees landscaping activities, the maintenance of sidewalks and parking areas, and the removal of trash and snow. Being a Building and Grounds Supervisor maintains and monitors the operation of all utility systems such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning. May be responsible for the housekeeping staff. Additionally, Building and Grounds Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Open to receiving feedback, training, and utilizing software to optimize day-to-day efficiency.

Benefits & Pay
The pay range for this position is $17.00 to $23.00 hourly pay which will be dependent on your experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional as well as leading a team.
Additionally, a commission structure is offered for bringing on new customers. The commission structure is a percentage of the customer's annual contract value. This allows our Crew Leads additional income and incentives outside of their hourly pay structure.
