Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan invites applications for a full time, 9-month faculty position in Business Data Analytics beginning fall, 2024. We are a theologically conservative Christian University located in Grand Rapids, MI.

The primary responsibilities of the faculty are teaching, spiritual modeling and mentoring, scholarship, and involvement in and service to Cornerstone and the general community. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Other responsibilities include scholarly engagement in the candidate’s specialization area, academic advising, assessment of student learning, student recruitment and other departmental duties as assigned. The successful candidate is eligible for academic rank, likely beginning as an Assistant Professor, if qualifications are met.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Possess a relevant Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred).
• Provide evidence of scholarly potential and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
• Teach general finance and personal finance courses as well as upper-level courses including Business Programming and Database management.
• Provide a full-time teaching load.
• Other responsibilities include scholarly engagement in the candidate’s specialization area, leadership of the Business Data Analytics program, student recruitment, course and program assessment, and other departmental duties as assigned.

Cornerstone‘s Business Data Analytics curriculum provides a Christ-focused education that is dedicated to smaller class sizes and one on one training of students. Our faculty enjoy working together to mentor and teach our eager students the complexities of the subject matter with a Christian Worldview.

Physical requirements include the ability to teach classes and labs on campus, use computers, operate lab equipment, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Salary and Start Date:

• Annual Salary of $55,000 - $75,000 for a 9-month faculty contract. The actual base salary will be commensurate with professional qualifications, skills, education, and experience. A full benefit package including health plans, disability coverage, and retirement is included.
• Start Date: August 12, 2024
