About this role:

ContainerPort Group, a World Group Company, is currently looking for a detail oriented person to join our family as a Manager of Analytics for our corporate headquarters in Rocky River!

The Manager of Analytics will manage the processes and people responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis. They will work closely with CPG leaders to support and implement high-quality data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
• Build, develop, and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key decisions.
• Examine, interpret, report, and make recommendations based off the results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in CPG leadership.
• Lead and develop subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
• Develop standards and collection processes that support previously mentioned analysis and ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate and track key performance indicators across departments.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Statistics, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Analytics Manager or Data Scientist
• Solid experience in data analysis and reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI)
• Superb communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and organizational abilities
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Industry experience is a plus
