A Day in the Life:

The Manager, Data Analytics will support our Transportation Network Company (TNC) and lead operations analysis, reporting, and tool development for senior management and field leadership while also supporting major strategic analytic projects to provide operational perspective to systems changes.

• Monthly closing, financial reporting, EBITDA walks, financial analysis, creating/presenting powerpoints for Sr. Mgt / TNC leadership team consumption
• Create dashboards to monitor the health of the business and identify opportunities to drive profitable growth
• Segment market to support building go to market strategies and processes
• Deep dive business and technical processes to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate deeply and cross functionally across accounting, operations, fleet, product, and technology

The starting salary is $110K; commensurate with experience.

What You’ll Do:

• The Manager, Data Analytics will develop tools, dashboards, and analysis to help field leaders make educated, real-time decisions that are in the best interest of the customers and company. This will be inclusive of analytical support to field operators, as well as Senior Leadership.
• Assist with management performance reporting to facilitate reviews with senior leadership including analysis, creating powerpoint presentations to explain financial results / impact, and consolidations
• Variance analysis of financial closing results/operating results vs forecasts vs budgets
• Ensures timely and accurate reporting with full understanding of variances to prior forecast, annual operating plan, and prior year performance
• Provide cross-functional analytical support to Maintenance, Fleet Management, Marketing, and Revenue Management for initiative performance measurement as well as other ad-hoc analysis needs.
• Responsible for ensuring that the dashboards and tools accurately represent actions occurring, they meet the expectations of the field leaders who are the primary audience, and for keeping the systems/dashboards up to date and operating properly.
• Responsible for coding and developing various automated performance reports as well as maintenance reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Build reliable, efficient , testable and maintainable data pipelines.
  • Using Metadata driven ETL tools and open Source data processing frameworks.
• Responsibility for division or enterprise reporting using Business Intelligence Reporting Platform (Tableau Preferred).

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis roles and/or Data Management/Analytics
• Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Security, or like field required 
• Masters degree preferred but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
• Expert proficiency in Data Management and Analytics
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
