Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data and analytics projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budget.
• Act as the primary liaison between data teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives and outcomes.
• Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel and technology, to maximize productivity and project success.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth project progression.
• Monitor and report on project progress, using metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Apply best practices in project management methodologies, adapting to agile, waterfall, or hybrid frameworks as needed.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
• Encourage the exploration of new data technologies and analytical methods to enhance project outcomes.
• Ensure projects adhere to data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Facilitate change management processes to smoothly integrate new solutions and processes into the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data and analytics projects, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Certified in Project Management (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of data analytics, data management, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance relevant to data and analytics in the insurance sector.
