Business Analytics Manager manages and oversees business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. Utilizes KPIs, business performance data, industry trends, competitor intelligence, and customer information to develop analytical tools, reports, and models across the organization to inform and support decision-making. Being a Business Analytics Manager consults with stakeholders to understand the business model, objectives, issues, and challenges that analytics can support. Develops standards and collection processes to support robust analytics and reporting data pipelines. Additionally, Business Analytics Manager builds teams with statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis skills to support the business. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, statistics or a quantitative field. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Business Analytics Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily operations and ensuring the store runs smoothly
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and concerns
- Supervise and train sales associates to ensure they meet performance goals and provide excellent customer service
- Manage inventory levels and ensure products are properly stocked on the sales floor
- Handle cash register transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
- Conduct employee orientation, training, and scheduling
- Collaborate with the store owner to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and meet budget goals
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Experience:
- Minimum one year previous experience in retail sales is required
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash registers
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and managing budgets
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer complaints or issues
