Business Application Delivery Director directs and leads an organization's business application delivery department. Being a Business Application Delivery Director enhances operations by establishing metrics, analyzing processes, and implementing standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Formulates business application architecture plans, estimates costs, and ensures projects meet strategic needs. Additionally, Business Application Delivery Director establishes policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations and support efficient operations. Leads and develops a team of business application delivery programmers with training in the best practices and technologies. Uses knowledge of the field to keep the department's software, techniques, and tools up to date. Manages resource planning and decision-making. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior/top management. The Business Application Delivery Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Business Application Delivery Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.   • Essential Responsibilites:

    • Oversee the billing and coding process to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and timely reimbursement.
    • Recruit, train, and supervise office staff, including billing specialists, administrative assistants, and admissions clerks.
    • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, analyze financial data, and generate reports for management review.
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate billing, collections, and revenue cycle management.
    • Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and insurance policies to minimize billing errors and maximize revenue.
    • Implement quality assurance measures to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of office operations.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic initiatives and long-term business objectives for the district.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement to support organizational growth and sustainability.
    • Address patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism, striving to exceed expectations and foster patient loyalty.
    • Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize the patient experience and resolve any billing or administrative issues promptly.
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines.
    • Conduct regular audits to identify compliance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Foster a positive work environment, provide ongoing feedback and support professional development opportunities for team members.

    Experience
