POSITION SUMMARY
The Application Specialist is responsible for the analysis and maintenance of specific departmental systems applications related to the revenue cycle. This position is responsible for defining, developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining system applications in support of the achievement of business and clinic requirements. This includes testing and analyzing system applications. The Application Specialist will also research, design, document, and modify application specifications throughout the production life cycle. The Application Specialist is responsible for delivering support to end users based on established and anticipated needs (forward thinking). This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. The Application Specialist is responsible for assisting in the design, delivery, and improvement of system applications training programs. The Application Specialist will work closely with Director to evaluate and implement new technology to support Revenue Cycle operations.
This role will focus on build and workflows needed to support claims, remits, insurance follow-up, self-pay and payment posting.
