As a vital member of our Information Technology (IT) team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and strategic solution delivery of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as well as a small group of enterprise business applications. This role will oversee implementation and upgrades of ERP related solutions and modules while driving continuous improvement and usage through the business. This role is highly active in solution maintenance and enhancement efforts to leverage enterprise resources, knowledge, and best practices. You will strategize and partner closely with business and technical leadership, serving as an expert IT resource, bringing forth opportunities to leverage the ERP to better the business and influence decisions regarding business process changes. Over the next 3-5 years, the business is expected to deploy several, major operational systems like LIMS, ERP Upgrades/Enhancements, MES/EBR, and investments in enterprise reporting analytics and Manufacturing 4.0 strategies (led by a Peer IT Leader) to transform our capabilities and deliver improvements to our customers and the patients served. This role will be instrumental in helping achieve those objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing ERP systems and driving business value through technology. The position can be in Woodbury, MN or St. Louis, MO with a preference for the St. Louis location. This leadership role reports to the VP of Information Technology. The role is hybrid (3 onsite/2 offsite), but due to rapid change and required engagement with business and IT colleagues, will realistically be mostly full-time onsite. Travel is expected 0-20% depending upon on business objectives and project scope. Relocation will be considered for highly qualified candidates.Responsibilities: Lead and manage the overall strategy, planning, implementation, and maintenance of our ERP system and 1-3-5 year solution road mapping/evolution. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ERP system, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and user satisfaction. Develop and execute a comprehensive ERP governance framework, including policies, procedures, and best practices. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to executive leadership on ERP system enhancements, upgrades, and new technology adoption. Lead and mentor a team of ERP professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service level agreements to ensure optimal support and value delivery. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to ERP systems and recommend relevant advancements to enhance business processes. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to the ERP system's performance, availability, and user satisfaction. Ensure solution compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations, working closely with the IT security team. Ensure solution compliance with GMP regulations specific to board of health (eg FDA, CBH, MHRA) following a software assurance/GAMP model working closely with the IT Risk Management & Compliance team and Kindeva Quality organization. People leadership and performance management responsibilities to develop and grow team members having direct reporting to this role. Also, responsible for right sizing and right skilling the team to ensure continued performance. Take on IT-business partnership for a set of vendor-business managed applications that have enterprise reach and function such as Kindeva’s eSignature tool, contract life-cycle management tool, Salesforce. Operates as the ERP Steering Committee Lead building and facilitating an ERP community of practice (COP) for SMEs across the organization. Annual and multi-year planning/budgeting for ERP roadmap and related technology investments. What We Need From You Proficient in English. Due to statutory requirements and US government products Kindeva manufactures, must be a US Person as defined by the US Department of State. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years of combined experience in people management and technical ERP management roles. Experience managing a mostly remote set of colleagues from the UK and US. Strong expertise in managing and strategically leading ERP systems. Kindeva leverages D365 F&O. Proven experience in leading ERP system implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects. Solid understanding of ERP system architectures, integration methodologies, and data migration strategies. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of professionals. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering business value through technology solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and service level agreement management. Knowledge of relevant industry standards, best practices, and compliance requirements in the ERP domain. Certifications in ERP systems (such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) are highly desirable.
