About The Role
As an Account Manager, you will support our Customer Support Department in managing relationships with top clients, providing technical and administrative support, creating reports, and assisting with client specific projects. You will follow processes in a professional and timely manner, adhering to guidelines from the Supervisor on the required productivity and quality of work. Account Managers produce positive client engagement with an average of 10-15 current accounts. You will report to the Director of Production. Position is currently hybrid remote with two days per week required in office. Applicant must be able to report in office in Hendersonville, NC. Some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts of all sizes by representing your team externally with clients and internally by working with direct reports and supporting positions
• Develop a thorough understanding of the clients’ position in the market, their product/service, points of difference and competitive landscape
• Manage client input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines
• Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects
• Understand customer goals and remain alert and responsive to changing customer needs
• Demonstrate knowledge of market data and access to resources to quickly respond to new developments in the customer's business
• Oversee support of managed projects to guide greater understanding of the customers, increase contacts within the customer group
• Develop account penetration strategies to include regular business reviews for essential customers to maximize sales
• Support the client onboarding process by providing walk throughs of our online portal, setting up client account specifications, and establishing a communication plan
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma and/or GED
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in account management/customer service is required
• Must be detailed-oriented
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
• Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time
• Compare, decide, direct, problem solve, analyze, instruct, interpret, offer a collaborative approach in a team environment
• Ability to analyze unique situations and develop appropriate responses
