Application Development Manager/ with Java/.NET

• Manage direct reports and provide daily coaching. 
• Create Performance Goals and Training Strategies for direct reports
• Ensure Team is staffed appropriately to fulfill assigned deliverable goals and future activities.
• Develop strategies to minimize key resource dependencies  

• Address impediments that have been escalated by the Team.
• Address any issues/risks that impact the business as the point of escalation. This could include resetting expectations around delivery as well as issues raised around requirements.
• Support the SDLC process and Scrum Master on the day-to-day SDLC activities of the Team

• Plan forecasting of resources.

• Ensure the right resources are put on the right work.
• Ensure adherence to departmental quality metric targets.  
• Connect Application Development Team with broader IT and Business Strategies
• Work directly with Information Technology Leadership to meet organizational goals, improve processes and maintain Production SLA commitments.
• Promote, instill and demonstrate FAMC’s culture. 

• 7 years of IT Management Experience
• Experience working in Java/.NET development environments
• Experience working in an Agile development environment using Scrum methodologies preferred but not required
• Demonstrated depth of leadership experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate and partner with other IT leaders.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent area.
