Business Application Delivery Manager manages a team of business application delivery programmers. Improves operational processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications systems. Being a Business Application Delivery Manager leads multiple projects and oversees programmers to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed correctly. Trains programmers on standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Additionally, Business Application Delivery Manager establishes deadlines, develops goals, and tracks performance metrics for the department. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Application Delivery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Application Delivery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and demonstrating merchandise in our customer’s home, while providing outstanding customer service along the way!
Responsibilities:
- Loading, securing and unloading furniture into the delivery vehicle, safely transport without damage and deliver to customers. This requires bringing furniture into homes/buildings and setting up/building pieces.
- Assembly and delivery of furniture
- Assist in organizing warehouse and locating furniture for deliveries
- Ensure all merchandise is clean and in operating condition on delivery
- Offload, install and demonstrate merchandise for our customers safely
- Ensure all merchandise is clean and in operating condition on delivery
- Maintain the store’s warehouse in a neat and orderly manner
- Safely operate delivery vehicle and follow delivery schedule set by management
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old with a valid state Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy; including satisfactory MVR (driving record)
- 2 years of experience in furniture delivery and assembly
- Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states
- Ability to work schedule – Monday through Friday, 8a-5p
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store and multitasking effectively
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proper customer service etiquette
- Maintain a professional appearance
