The IT Business Analyst is responsible for assessing, analyzing, and optimizing business applications and systems to enhance operational efficiency and meet organizational objectives. Primary duties include evaluating business requirements, configuring and customizing applications, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and coordinating systems integration. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify process improvement and innovation opportunities to drive business success.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for new or existing applications.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, including use cases, user stories, process flows, and wireframes.
• Configure and customize business applications, utilizing configuration tools and application settings to meet user requirements.
• Coordinate the integration of business applications with other systems and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Develop training materials and provide user training sessions to ensure effective adoption and utilization of business applications.
• Manage changes to business applications, including evaluating change requests, assessing impacts, and coordinating implementation activities while ensuring adherence to change management processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for business applications, including requirements documents, design specifications, test plans, user manuals, and support guides.
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers, including software vendors, consultants, and support teams, to facilitate business application implementation,       maintenance, and support.
• Based on user feedback, industry best practices, and emerging technologies, identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements. Propose and champion improvements to increase efficiency, usability, and ROI.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

This position requires endurance to perform tasks over long periods of work hours and the ability to perform essential functions without posing a "direct threat" in the work place.  Must be able to lift 45 pounds.
