    We are looking for Data Analyst/Business Intern for the Summer of 2024.

    As a Summer Scholar Intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.

    Over the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Work and learn as a data analyst in our Maryville Tennessee facility.
    • This is an opportunity to develop data collection skills and gain hands-on aviation industry experience from experts in the field in a collaborative and exciting environment.


    Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

    • Applicant will have very strong Microsoft Excel skills with a particular focus on Microsoft Query and/or Power Query modules
    • Extensive Experience with Querying data from Oracle or SQL Server databases and performing analysis and developing reports summarizing data findings
    • Knowledge of SQL query language is preferred
    • Familiar with Microsoft Access database queries, especially converting to other data platforms
    • A working knowledge of Statistical concepts is required; however, a strong background in statistics would be an advantage
    • The ability to take what is learned and then confidently provide instruction to others
    • Completed focused studies on cost, risk, or labor efficiency data particularly in relation to repair or manufacturing facilities
    • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision making, and communication skills


    Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

    • Completed engineering courses and education experience at the Junior level or above
    • Data Querying experience.
    • Knowledge of MS Office products, to include Excel, Project, and Word
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must be US Citizen due to government contracts


    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Excellent communication skills
    • A strong desire to learn and be a contributing member of a team
    • Strong self-motivation and organization skills


    Internship Details:

    • The internship term will be - Summer 2024 (beginning mid-May)
    • The length of the internship is 10-12 weeks
    • Located in Maryville, TN **students must have own lodging.
