Tectonic, a multi-disciplined professional engineering firm, is currently seeking a full-time Business Development / Marketing Associate to join our Corporate Headquarters in Orange County, NY. This position offers excellent opportunity for professional growth and development!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential functions include the preparation of proposals, statements of qualifications, and associated marketing materials for professional services, which includes working closely with technical staff to translate technical concepts into written and graphic materials to ensure that all criteria are met. The BD Associate will also assist with preparing marketing collateral materials and maintaining BD department resources. Other functions include database entry and management, proofreading, editing, and other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 0-3 years of relevant experience, with a BS Degree or equivalent in Communications, Business/Marketing, Graphic Design, English, Literature, or similar, or any other suitable combination of experience, education & training;
• Knowledge of graphics programs and/or graphics experience is strongly preferred;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign;
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred;
• Excellent planning, writing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail;
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills;
• Outstanding interpersonal skills;
• Ability to multi-task in a demanding atmosphere.

PAY RANGE

The offered pay may be outside of the provided salary range based upon the selected candidate’s work location, experience, education, certifications, and capabilities compared to the advertised position.

Pay Range: $20.68 - $23.08 / hour
