Core Responsibilities:

• Identify, pursue, and solicit new sales opportunities for assigned and prospective customer accounts.
• Qualify new customers and projects to ensure a strong alignment between Wauseon Machine’s capabilities and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with the Estimating Department to develop accurate quotations and act as the liaison between Wauseon Machine and the customer.
• Build and maintain a robust opportunity funnel, aligning with the company's sales and new business pursuit strategy.
• Efficiently manage the CRM system for new and existing opportunities, monitoring booking forecasts, setting priorities, and following up on quotes for assigned accounts.
• Support the contract review process in coordination with operations, ensuring alignment with scope, terms, pricing, and competitive environment for each opportunity.
• Provide support for active projects with assigned customers, assisting with change orders, customer approvals, and issue resolution as needed.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships through regular contact, follow-up reporting, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
