    Your Day-To-Day

    • Manage Chamber Membership Development & Relations
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing members to ensure a healthy and growing retention rate.
    • Develop and work a growing leads list, meeting budgetary goals, for new membership and maintain an onboarding process that ensures retention of new members. We pride ourselves on the values of relational sales and helping business be successful.
    • Devise fun membership outreach campaigns throughout the year taking advantage of deadlines for productions such as our Visitors Guide in February, March Membership Madness and any other creative things you generate.
    • Work with the CEO to secure sponsorships for our Signature Events.
    • Analyze membership data to influence future marketing strategies and propose regular changes/upgrades to keep membership benefits growing and relevant. You’ve got to love being a change agent!
    • Manage Advertising Sales
    • Lead planning, execution, and monitoring advertising sales for website, eNews and annual map production. There may even be an opportunity to do our Visitors Guide ad sales in the future.
    • Create all Digital postings welcoming new members and recognizing renewing members for Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin. Have fun and use your creativity!
    • Ensure timely delivery of results aligned with organizational goals and exceeding budget expectations.
    • Engage with Members and Sponsors to Foster Collaboration:
    • Establish relationships with members and sponsors to ensure positive outcomes and deliverables that exceed their expectations.
    • Develop solutions that improve member relations and retention through event participation, volunteer engagement, and marketing communications.
    • Provide bi-weekly membership news content for the eNews.
    • Maintain and Update GrowthZone Database with Membership Contact Notes:
    • Manage data dashboard tiered membership deliverables.
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to track progress and measure impact.
    • Provide insights for strategic decision-making within the organization.
    • Leadership Flathead: This wildly successful and impactful program has graduated over 800 participants and is a 9-month community awareness and leadership development program.
    • Works with the Class Officers and Leadership Advisory Council to make sure the program comes off without a hitch.
    • Develops and works with the budget to have fun recruiting the 40 annual class mates each spring.
    • Maintains the overall responsibility for the 9-program days September – May. Participates and oversees each day.
    • Manages an inspiring graduation each June.

    Must-Have Skills

    • Business development: Form and nurture long-term member relations that lead to growth opportunities for them and our Chamber.
    • Flexibility: Adjust to short-term change quickly and calmly so that you can deal with unexpected problems or tasks effectively
    • Customer service: Maintain a high level of engagement, empathy, problem-solving, and communication with internal and external partners
    • Project/process management: Manage priorities, processes, contracts, timelines, and task deliverables across a variety of overlapping projects
    • Public speaking and presentation: Excellent written, phone, and verbal communication abilities that command audience respect
    • Communication: Written and verbal communication. Must believe there is no such thing as over-communication with the team.
    • Technological proficiency: Comfort with technology including MS Office 365, Google Suite, basic social media, Canva, Slack, ConstantContact, and contact management.
