Business Development Director - Biotech supports top management by providing analysis for evaluating new business opportunities such as in/out licensing, collaborative research and development agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions. Oversees business development activities through subordinate managers. Being a Business Development Director - Biotech requires an MBA and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.     Position Summary:

    As a Business Development Associate, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our success and your own career trajectory.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Conduct outbound prospecting to qualify new business leads and help source new business opportunities.
    • Partner with senior sales team members, schedule meetings with new prospects, set up meetings with existing strategic accounts to identify growth and cross selling opportunities, and manage client feedback calls.
    • Meet designated prospecting and meeting targets through cold calling and other lead generation efforts.
    • Assist in the development of marketing materials and client presentations.
    • Develop a working knowledge of the primary research methods, the competitor landscape, and corporate industry strategies.

    Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years’ experience in Inside Sales, Marketing or Customer Service
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
    • Prior business development experience preferred.
    • Understanding information technology is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Passion for teamwork and collaboration.
