REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
The Regional Director of Business Development (RDBD) will accomplish the company's goals and objectives by holding hospital liaisons under their direction accountable for census growth, a defined return on investment, an effective business plan, and implementation of programs and philosophy. The RDBD must be strong in planning and control so s/he can manage daily issues without interfering with the ability to anticipate future business trends and plan accordingly. The RDBD will hold hospital liaisons accountable and will work to develop hospital liaisons so they achieve personal and professional growth.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Directly oversees Hospital Liaisons within a designated region.
FUNCTIONS:
Census Under the direction of the CEO, and with the hospital liaisons, communicates the appropriate Census and Mix objectives for the year, in conjunction with the budget and the business plan.Ensures that facility has a sales and marketing plan in place that will allow facility to maximize census and exceed expectations.Reviews the status daily via daily census report and each month on site and ensures that goals are established if results are not meeting expectations.
Hospital Liaison Development
Ensures newly hired Hospital Liaisons receive a proper orientation. Conducts annual Performance Reviews and quarterly reviews on HLs.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible for multi site management and staff development experience in long-term care.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other facility staff. Possess special interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly. Strong oral and written communication skills.
