Business Development Manager manages the daily execution of the business development strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. Coaches teams in best practices and effective tactics for prospecting new markets, partners, channels, and customers. Being a Business Development Manager establishes team targets and metrics to measure the achievement of objectives. Develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and product demand changes. Additionally, Business Development Manager makes suggestions for new product offerings or improvements to sales or marketing efforts. May administer or negotiate new business proposals and prepare contracts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Requirements

    WE OFFER:

    · Base salary to $80k/year with unlimited earning/commission potential

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Prospecting for new leads

    · Implementing cold outreach campaigns

    · Qualifying potential customers

    · Nurtures existing customer relationships from a long-standing established book of business.

    · Forecast sales activities for the assigned territory utilizing the company CRM platform.

    · Utilize outbound calling as well as conduct face-to-face visits out in the field 75% of the time to win new business.

    · Increase customer loyalty and retention, while identifying potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

    · Understand the products and services represented to the client.

    · Work with leadership in assigned territory to achieve corporate business objectives in all markets and all facets of the business.


    YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    · Meet established sales and profitability goals in your assigned territory, including new service contracts and preventative maintenance agreements.

    · Develop a strategy to generate significant top-line growth within 12 months.

    · Maintain a PMA contract renewal rate of 90%.


    YOUR EXPERIENCE:

    · 3 years of outside commercial B2B sales experience in fleet services, fleet management, or similar industry

    · Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM such as Microsoft Dynamics or Hubspot

    · Must have new business development experience handling the full sales cycle

    · Ability to work mainly remote (80% local, home at night) to visit customers as needed

    · Excellent communication and organizational skills
