Creed Monarch, a reputable US-based manufacturer of precision components, is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager with relevant experience in the CNC machining industry. You will be responsible for developing new markets, customers and projects to diversify Creed Monarch customers’ portfolio and to ensure revenue growth. You will play a key role in understanding industry trends and customer needs, building and refining company strategy, addressing and overcoming commercial and technical challenges. Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new customers. Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers, providing exceptional customer service to ensure their satisfaction.
- Identify new projects. Convert opportunities into business awarded by obtaining purchase orders and long-term supply agreements.
- Develop and maintain sales funnel (customers, projects).
- Provide regular project updates to customers.
- Obtain, manage and communicate customer requirements, changes and inquiries to Creed Monarch appropriate departments.
- Annual business planning: setting of sales revenue and profitability goals, forecasting, customers and projects funnel, sales budget (expenses).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
- Regular reporting: prepare and present sales revenue and profitability reports, including actual and potential sales, areas of proposed customer base expansion, and customer highlights.
- Attend industry events and exhibitions to represent the company, generate new leads, stay on top of the industry trends and competition.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a sales account management role within the CNC machining manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read industrial drawings and to understand other technical documentation (material data sheets, manufacturing routings, material treatment process requirements.).
- Ability to perform financial analysis: costs, profitability, price development, ROI.
- Proven track record of successful sales and business development.
- Exceptional communication; tactful and professional with all levels in and outside the company.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience.
- Ability to identify and influence key stakeholders within customers, navigate throughout companies’ departments and cross-functional teams, including our own company.
- Comfortable with cold calling.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, LinkedIn).
- Ability to travel by air and ground, approximately 50% of the time.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage time effectively.
- Sense of urgency and commitment to organizational success.
