WHAT WE NEED

If so, we're looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key player in our growth strategy, you'll be at the forefront of driving revenue for Rainfactory and forging partnerships in the Go to Market and Direct to Consumer space.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Direct to Consumer consultative sales and/or marketing services industry.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
The ability to work full-time on US Pacific Standard Time, 5 days a week.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, organization, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
Results-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and CRM systems.
Industry Knowledge:
Possess a deep understanding of the crowdfunding and e-commerce industries.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics.
Understanding of e-commerce marketing concepts such as conversion rate, conversion funnel, customer journey.
BONUS POINTS:
Experience launching a crowdfunding or an e-commerce product launch campaign or similar.
Having your own book of business that would benefit from Rainfactory services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deal Closure:
The candidate must have a proven track record of successfully closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
Engage and convert potential clients who align with our company culture of collaboration and mutual-respect
Weed out clients who are disrespectful or seem overly demanding
Identify upsell opportunities for Rainfactory’s clients.
Challenge and test best practices and new technology developments to create new, more efficient sales processes.
Keep up to date with eCommerce news and trends, competitors, emerging technologies, and the latest emerging markets.
Collaborate with external service & SAAS partners to generate leads and business opportunities.
Provide regular updates on sales projections and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
Develop and generate regular reports on key sales metrics, providing visibility into team performance.
Communicate insights and findings to the broader team, facilitating informed decision-making.
