As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving revenue by effectively showcasing our development expertise.
Typical day in the life:
Business Development: Identify and target potential clients who can benefit from full-stack and platform specific software development services (Microsoft, Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.).
Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and challenges and propose appropriate development solutions that align with their goals. Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
Solution Presentation: Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase our capabilities and value proposition to key decision-makers.
Relationship Building: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, nurturing existing accounts and creating a pipeline of new opportunities.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our development and technical teams to ensure accurate scoping and feasibility assessments for proposed solutions.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.
Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements for both the client and the company.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of sales activities and progress.
Who You Are
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the software development industry, with a strong track record of selling Full-Stack and platform specific development solutions.
Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies related to Full-Stack, and platform development tools, solutions, and services.
Proven Sales Record: Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Consultative Approach: Ability to understand complex client needs and tailor solutions accordingly, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Relationship Building: Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to create rapport and credibility with C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
Strategic Mindset: Strong business acumen with the ability to formulate and execute effective sales strategies.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and development teams, to ensure successful client engagements.
Presentation Skills: Proficient in delivering engaging presentations and product demonstrations.
Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
Benefits and Compensation
Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 commission
