Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
• Research and network with organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Call prospects to engage in conversations designed to discover new opportunities
• Establish and maintain relationships with Partners to prospect new opportunities. 
• Gain commitments and schedule a web-based demos or another call to action
• Maintain new client relationships through office visits, meetings, and presentations.
• Attend conferences, meetings, expos and industry events.
• Work with our Marketing team and collaborate with marketing on sales collateral.
• Work with the project team members as necessary to ensure delivery of quality service.
• Create price quotes and statements of work.
• Track leads and opportunities in our CRM.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Business Development to develop goals for company growth.

Requirements:

• Experience in closing business opportunities with government agencies
• Proven work experience in successful Business Development
• Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
• Track record of achieving sales quotas
• Passion for helping customers solve dynamic problems
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
• Proposal and client presentation creation and deployment experience

Job Type: Full-time

This position is remote and requires at least 30% of travel.
