Business Development Officer (Select Customer),Sr. develops and implements select customer referral strategies in order to increase client satisfaction and portfolio growth for affluent professional customers. Responsible for initial relationship and follow-up with prospects. Being a Business Development Officer (Select Customer),Sr. represents the bank to current and prospective customers and communicates directly with them. Develops and executes marketing and sales strategies according to business objectives. Additionally, Business Development Officer (Select Customer),Sr. prepares and presents sales results to top management. Retains and expands existing customer relationships and acquires new customers. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Officer (Select Customer),Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.   • TEKsystems is hiring for a Business Development Manager within 2 hours of Hanover, PA.

    Candidates will be responsible for the following:

    Develop a strong pipeline of new customers that fits current core competencies and the “Ideal Customer” matrix.

    Develop relationships with multiple points of contact and create activity that produces new business opportunities.

    Identify new opportunities for growth with current strategic customers by expanding our connections through an organization with a goal to produce new business opportunities.

    Log and report weekly sales activity including customer visits, proposals submitted and next steps with an intentional effort to move new business forward.

    Effectively communicate the business case for new RFQ’s to the VP of Sales and VP of Engineering. Gather the necessary data allowing for the most cost-efficient customer quote.

    Participate with new customer onboarding meetings to ensure success that include:

    Sales forecasting & budgeting.

    Support Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality during the startup process as needed.

    Work closely with internal Account Managers and Manufacturing teams.

    Participate in the Annual Business Reviews.

    Hours: 8-5 Monday- Friday or 7-4 Monday-Friday

    This position will required candidates to be onsite for the first 6 months (Monday-Friday)

    Then the position will become hybrid (WFH, Office and Travel.)

    Skills:

    Ideal candidates have come from a Metal Manufacturing industry or have experience with Sales in the following areas:

    Value Engineering

    Laser Cutting

    Laser Punch

    Bending & Forming

    CNC Machining

    Welding

    Assembly & Value-Added Services

    Requirement:

    Travel/Territory:

    We are regionally based.

    Territory will cover mostly a day drive visit. NY, NJ, PA, VA, MD /DELAWARE AREA.

    Occasionally Overnight, depending on the meeting time and place.(With mileage entertaining and travel expenses paid)
