    Job Summary

    Our sales team has identified several lead generation opportunities, and as a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will leverage a combination of outreach tactics, including email, phone, etc. to help build our sales pipeline by connecting with prospective customers, understanding their unique needs, and identifying the best way to position J&J Ventures with locations where gaming is already established and/or where gaming is a new opportunity. You’ll help identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts and discover qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.


    Job Responsibilities

    • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation through outbound calling and emailing to decision makers across different verticals.
    • Schedule meetings for the sales team on all qualified leads.
    • Develop targeted email lists.
    • Create personalized emails to engage targeted accounts.
    • Process unqualified inquiries to pre-qualified opportunities.
    • Manage and qualify inbound leads and other communications to ensure fast response rates and excellent service to potential clients.
    • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM.
    • Assist Territory Manager in scheduling for town, city meetings including industry networking opportunities at the state and local level.
    • Execute post meeting emails and communications to licensed establishments.
    • Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities.
    • Recognize and advise on industry trends to drive greater lead generation and increased conversions.

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field preferred.


    Qualifications and Experience

    • 2 years of sales experience required.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in relationship development and opportunity identification.
    • Ability to learn/understand and articulate our solution and value propositions.
    • Ability to quickly synthesize and apply new information.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Self-starter with a competitive nature and desire to grow a career in sales.
    • Data driven – can assess data quickly and identify areas of focus/prioritization.
    • Strong collaborator and communicator.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.).

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


    Work Environment

    This position generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The noise level in the work environment is low.
