Business Development Supervisor identifies, evaluates, and pursues business opportunities with partners or potential customers. Coordinates and negotiates with other departments to implement marketing initiatives. Being a Business Development Supervisor is responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients. Acquires new customers, retains and expands existing customer relationships. Additionally, Business Development Supervisor develops sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommends modifications to the product/service line, and coordinates sales negotiations with appropriate personnel. Responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Development Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Key Responsibilities:        
    Market Research and Analysis:        
    ·        Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industries, and trends.        
    ·        Analyze market data to assess competition, pricing, and opportunities.        
    Lead Generation:        
    ·        Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events.        
    ·        Develop and maintain a database of leads and prospects.        
    Prospect Engagement:        
    ·        Build and nurture prospect relationships through effective communication and understanding of their needs.        
    Sales Strategy:        
    ·        Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.        
    ·        Assist in the creation of pre-call preparation documents.        
    Pipeline Management:        
    ·        Manage the sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and client interactions.        
    ·        Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.        
    Achieve Sales Targets:        
    ·        Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.        
    Reporting:        
    ·        Prepare regular reports on sales activities, progress, and outcomes.        
    ·        Provide insights and recommendations for improving the sales process.        
    Team Collaboration:        
    ·        Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful sales process.         
    Qualifications:        
    ·        Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).        
    ·        2-5 years' of proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.        
    ·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.        
    ·        Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.        
    ·        Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.        
    ·        Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.        
    ·        Willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
