Business Development Supervisor identifies, evaluates, and pursues business opportunities with partners or potential customers. Coordinates and negotiates with other departments to implement marketing initiatives. Being a Business Development Supervisor is responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients. Acquires new customers, retains and expands existing customer relationships. Additionally, Business Development Supervisor develops sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommends modifications to the product/service line, and coordinates sales negotiations with appropriate personnel. Responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Job Description
● Research and qualify potential prospects. Engage those prospects through outreach (written and
verbal). Bring in relevant team members to assist with converting prospects to clients. Maintain the client
relationship and quarterback any issues.
● Strong cross- product knowledge. Entail cross selling as we have a suite of services and products.
● Use of CRM, Tracker, and other tools to assist you in your goals.
● Client relationship management: maintain the client relationship and possibly cross-sell other
services.
Qualifications:
● 5 years of experience in Business Development sales with Business Processing Outsourcing,
Outsourcing, Global Talent, IT, Digital Marketing, and/or customer service roles.
● Strong English-speaking verbal and written communication skills
● Proven process and strategy of successfully generating leads, engaging those leads and bringing in team members to close.
● Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizations skills
● Self-Starter and Results-Driven approach.
● Bachelor's degree
