Business Development Supervisor identifies, evaluates, and pursues business opportunities with partners or potential customers. Coordinates and negotiates with other departments to implement marketing initiatives. Being a Business Development Supervisor is responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients. Acquires new customers, retains and expands existing customer relationships. Additionally, Business Development Supervisor develops sales of products and services by investigating and resolving customer problems, recommends modifications to the product/service line, and coordinates sales negotiations with appropriate personnel. Responsible for meeting sales volume and revenue goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance or marketing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Development Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Development Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Nambe Pueblo Development Corporation (NPDC) is seeking an Executive Director to lead its business development efforts in Cuyamungue, New Mexico. NPDC is a federally chartered corporation, wholly owned by the Nambe Pueblo Tribe, and serves as the sole economic development corporation for the Tribe. NPDC is governed by a Board of Directors (BOD) appointed by Tribal Council.
The Executive Director reports to the Board and leads NPDC’s business development efforts including strategic and business planning development and execution, staff management and leadership, and financial and operational management and reporting.
The Executive Director holds full responsibility and is the primary point of contact for the operations of NPDC’s corporate office and enterprises in support of the Corporation’s vision, strategic plan, operating and business plans, and annual budget as approved by the BOD and Tribal Council.
Midpoint pay for the position is $126,000. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
