Role and Responsibilities
As a Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI) and Sage X3 Specialist, your role entails leveraging your expertise in SEI and Sage X3 to bolster business intelligence and ERP functions within our team. Your responsibilities will encompass developing and implementing bespoke BI solutions, acting as the primary contact for SEI and Sage X3 queries, collaborating with various teams to streamline ERP processes, crafting insightful reports and dashboards, conducting training sessions, staying abreast of industry advancements, troubleshooting technical issues, participating in system upgrades and migrations, integrating systems, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for knowledge dissemination and compliance purposes.
Responsibilities:
Implement, configure, and maintain Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI) software to meet business requirements.
Develop and customize reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using SEI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that leverage SEI and Sage X3 capabilities.
Provide training and support to end-users on SEI and Sage X3 functionalities, reports, and analytics.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SEI and Sage X3 integration, data integrity, and performance.
Stay updated on the latest features, enhancements, and best practices related to SEI and Sage X3 to drive continuous improvement.
Assist in the implementation and optimization of Sage X3 ERP system, including modules such as finance, distribution, manufacturing, and CRM.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within Sage X3.
Customize and configure Sage X3 modules to align with business requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Sage X3 with other systems and applications as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience implementing and supporting Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI) and Sage X3 ERP system.
In-depth knowledge of SEI reporting tools, data modeling, SQL queries, and data warehousing concepts.
Strong understanding of business processes across various functions such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
Experience with software development methodologies, project management principles, and system integration.
Certification in Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI) and Sage X3 is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
