Business Intelligence Director directs a business intelligence group centered on providing insight and aiding in business decision-making.     What you will be accountable for:

    As the Business Intelligence (BI) Developer III, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success and growth of QBP by engaging with internal business stakeholders of all levels across the business, consult with them, and provide support & guidance in defining and delivering their BI needs by turning data into actionable insights.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Design and implement data transformations such as: changing data format, transforming data shape to support the data model, analysis, and visualization [25%]
    • Develops advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions to meet modeling and any ad hoc reporting needs. Establish and enforce QBP standards for report design and development [25%]
    • Identify and communicate data quality and data reconciliation issues [15%]
    • Understand data model optimizations and relationships (star schema) [ 10%]
    • Work with users and team members at all levels to gather requirements through solicitation sessions with business users and translate requirements into technical architecture vision and implementation plan; advise, train and support [15%]
    • BI development - ensure that our Data warehouse development standards are aligned to our SDLC and BI strategy and that our systems are reliable, scalable, and relevant and appropriate while promoting best practices within the BI development team [10%]

    What you need to succeed:

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BA in Business, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or relevant field
    • 5 years of experience working with a Business Intelligence platform, preferably Power BI.
    • Ability to be technology agnostic when exploring solutions; willingness to work in multi-vendor environment (AWS, Microsoft, others)
    • 5 years in SQL, Preferred SQL Server
    • Must have experience in creating data-rich dashboards, writing DAX expressions, and implementing row-level security
    • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach
    • Experience with the Agile development methodology
    • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail
    • Self-motivated, eager to learn and focused on continuous improvement
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively as part of a team
    • Demonstrated background of strong character, integrity, and sound decision-making
