Business Intelligence Director directs a business intelligence group centered on providing insight and aiding in business decision-making. Oversees the planning of projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions. Being a Business Intelligence Director collaborates with other departments to identify and generate potential business intelligence initiatives, and ensures that business intelligence analysts have the tools, training, and understanding of the field to produce effective dashboards, reports, and metrics. Makes resource allocation and staffing decisions. Additionally, Business Intelligence Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Intelligence Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Business Intelligence Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.       SALARY COMPENSATION: $29.97 hourly/$62,335.00 - $30.54 hourly/$63,525.00 annually
      WORK PERIOD: 2023-2024 School Year - Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

      Job Objective: The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for providing strategic and effective leadership in designing and managing the systems and processes that support business intelligence, data analytics, and complex and standard reporting solutions for all areas at Moore Norman Technology Center.

      Qualifications
      Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate’s Degree required
      Credentials: None
      Experience: Three years related work experience. Experience with Microsoft Power BI (preferred)

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Strengthens relationships by developing students and clients and staff, partnering with businesses and schools and collaborating with community leaders through participating in school or community activities.
      • Focuses on being a leader within the organization through personal accountability, active problem solving and positive forward thinking.
      • Focuses on continual improvement to assure quality products and excellent services to our customers and stakeholders.
      • Analyzes data for trends and patterns.
      • Generates weekly and monthly reports with trends past and present.
      • Designs new data collection models to better collect information.
      • Coordinates with IT Services department to implement new models.
      • Performs data profiling to identify anomalies.
      • Develops complex analyses and publishes district results and reports using data visualization tools.
      • Performs data mining and support functions for district using various software applications.
      • Responsible for coordination, collection, input, analysis, and reporting of data for regulatory requirements, including Long Term follow-up, IPEDS, CoWIB in collaboration with key stakeholders
      • Designs and implements data collection projects for various departments throughout the district.
      • Resolves problems/interprets rules, procedures, and policies to assist internal customers and students.
      • Responsible for compliance with board policies
      • Other responsibilities/projects as assigned.
