Business Intelligence Director directs a business intelligence group centered on providing insight and aiding in business decision-making. To be a Business Intelligence Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Role Summary:

    The North America Business IntelligenceI Reporting Analyst is responsible for assisting the Data CoE (Center of Excellence) network to design and & create meaningful reports in our Looker environment and assist in creating supporting datasets. The analyst will understand the business requirements and support dashboards and reporting creation that addresses complex business problems, such as profit trending and KPIs. An analyst will also occasionally mine data within GCP to learn the data and help with the interpretations of business trends for strategic, tactical and operational decisions and executions within the organization.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    The primary role of BI analyst is to assist with inquiries on how to best design and create Looks and Dashboards within Looker with the existing Explores.

    The analyst will also be responsible to understand complex business requirements and assist with business on designing visuals for analysis.

    Collaborate with key stakeholders in the business areas to meet the business needs related to reporting and data analysis.

    Collaborate with team members to ensure data sets do not overlap and address the same complex business issues.

    Understands the impact of model changes at data warehouse layer as well the semantic layer and ensures the downstream reporting & dashboards queries are answered in relation to the changes.

    Execute governance activities such as report standardization and assist business with reporting inventory management according to guidelines & policies

    Review existing reports and data sets and migrate/transform into more effective solutions

    Proactively initiate meaningful analysis, visualizations and management presentations in support of the business units.

    The individual must have strong communication skills (verbal and written) to work with and influence internal business partners to utilize the correct tool for data presentation and reporting

    Has experience and/or knowledge of reporting software such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos etc.,

    Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Gsheet/Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data manipulation using functions

    Experience in Analysis tool such as Google Workspace and/or Google Data Studio

    Exposure to GCP (Google Cloud Platform)/Big Query

    Exposure to or knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Javascript, or SQL is a bonus.

    Required Minimum Years Experience: 1 related experience preferred
