Business Intelligence Director directs a business intelligence group centered on providing insight and aiding in business decision-making. Oversees the planning of projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions. Being a Business Intelligence Director collaborates with other departments to identify and generate potential business intelligence initiatives, and ensures that business intelligence analysts have the tools, training, and understanding of the field to produce effective dashboards, reports, and metrics. Makes resource allocation and staffing decisions. Additionally, Business Intelligence Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Intelligence Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Business Intelligence Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • Provide US Army Central Command (USARCENT) G2 CJ2 with multi-intelligence operations support services. Support USARCENT G2 by aiding in the coordination, planning, and execution of intelligence collection operations, exploitation, dissemination and analytic support in coordination with other entities and agencies in USARCENT from a stateside location regarding the USCENTCOM AOR.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct intelligence analysis related to counter-terrorism, HUMINT, SIGINT, CI, regional issues, and targeting.
    • Support the production and analysis of Intelligence reporting across the ARCENT spectrum of planning, operations, training, exercises, and force management.
    • Provide administration support to the US Army Central (USARCENT) Force Management Analyst to identify, refine, track, and submit manning and equipping capabilities for theater-level Army requirements.
    • Provide planning and regional threat/intelligence support and analysis.
    • Perform all-source intelligence analysis related to military actions, insurgent activities, economic and political activities, and threats to regional stability. Research, develop, present, and publish all-source intelligence products at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
    • Contribute All-Source Analysis related input to all USARCENT G2 Lines of Effort.
    • Develop and prepare PowerPoint presentations, information papers, trend analysis, written assessments, research, and analytical notes/summary, and or published analytical reports.

    Basic Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science (Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Political Science, Geography, Anthropology) OR an Associate’s Degree plus three (3) years working in a Social Sciences field related to Intelligence Analysis in lieu of the Bachelor’s Degree is acceptable.
    • Three (3) years of analytical experience at the tactical/operational level within DoD or equivalent Federal Government agencies (DHS, DOJ, DOS) and requires former DoD occupation specialties or Federal Government Agency equivalents of the following military occupation specialties: Army - 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A; USMC – 0204, 0210, 0211 - Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist; U.S. Navy – Navy Intelligence Specialist; and USAF –1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N4X1 Intelligence Fusion Analysts.
    • Proficient in using basic computer applications to include MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and current information automation and dissemination knowledge management (KM) tools such as SharePoint or other KM tools.
    • Proficient in utilizing intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
    • Possesses a USCENTCOM Area of Operations and Area of Influence regional political/military science background.
    • Active TS/SCI Clearance
    • US Citizenship
    • Personnel will be required to conduct temporary duty (TDY) for approximately 1 to 2 weeks per year, on one or more occasions. They will typically provide support to conferences and exercises. Travel will be CONUS and locations typically include USCENCOM HQ, Tampa, Florida, Fort Gordon, Georgia, Charleston, South Carolina, the National Capital Region (NCR)

    • Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
