Manager of Business Intelligence! :
Position Summary:
This position must actively manage the daily operations of the Business Intelligence Department, to include managing the department employees. This person will manage over the general development, enhancement, and maintenance activities of the centralized reporting and data reference system. Additionally, this position must participate in the evaluation and recommendation of future technologies, policies, processes, and solutions related to the promotion of accurate and automated data extraction, visualization, warehousing, publication, analysis, and transmission activities of HCP.
Essential Position Functions/Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the Business Intelligence Department.
- Manage and support the Business Intelligence ticketing and request process.
- Manage data reporting, analytics, visualization, and solution development initiatives.
- Act as a liaison to all departments for their solution development needs.
- Determine, document, modify, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures involving database management, analysis, and publication.
- Provide both hands-on and high-level data management applications and principles training to HCP staff as needed.
- Act as a resource for peripheral applications such as MS SQL, MS Access, MS Excel and other database management tools for the centralized reporting functions.
- Coordinate with the Information Technology Department to ensure that all solutions developed meet security and network performance requirements.
- Manage existing support documentation and provide assistance and oversight to the creation of new documentation using the standard Business Intelligence SMART Book layout.
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director, Business Intelligence.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the following qualities.
- Extensive knowledge in SQL Server databases and SQL coding.
- Extensive knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
- Hands on programming skills in SQL Server Reporting Services and VBA.
- Extensive knowledge in HealthCare operations.
- Extensive knowledge in all MS Office products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Extensive knowledge in database operations (management, extraction, manipulation, configuration, re-configuration, transmission, encryption, and inload).
- Experience supervising or managing over teams
- Working knowledge of creating dashboards using PowerBI
Training/Education:
- BS Computer Science/HealthCare Informatics or comparable leadership and hands-on experience in HealthCare information technologies field.
Experience:
- Data and connectivity configuration, data analytics and visualization, leadership role in analytics, 5-10 years healthcare/medical experience highly preferred.
Salary:
- - Annual Base Compensation: $140,000 - $155,000
- Bonus Incentive: Up to 10%, based on organizational performance
