We have an immediate opening for a Business Intelligence Analyst. The candidate will come into the company as a member of our IT department. This position will focus primarily as a liaison for the Business Intelligence area and as a resource supporting the company-wide needs and business objectives of Manatt's Inc. This person will oversee multiple systems and ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.

The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst provides strategic, analytical, and technical support for business intelligence activities. The analyst leverages data to gain key insight into business opportunities, and effectively presents these insights to business stakeholders at Manatts. The analyst is also heavily involved with the distribution and successful delivery of all BI reports.

• Partners with stakeholders, process specialists, and users to elicit and document business requirements
• Partners with business teams to define and document business requirements for new metrics and reports
• Designs, develops, and maintains reports using Power BI, SSRS, and Crystal Reports as well as Microsoft O365 tools
• Performs ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports
• Provides technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools
• Identifies and analyzes errors and inconsistencies in the data and provides timely resolutions
• Translates data results into written reports, tables, graphs and charts to convey information to management
• Creates written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations
• Creates ad hoc reports and views on a frequent basis to assist stakeholders across multiple departments in understanding, researching and analyzing issues
• Teaches and advocates the use of business intelligence tools across all levels of the organization
• Assist in data architecture that supports the overall strategic vision of Manatts Inc.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science/MIS or related discipline.
• 2 – 5 years full stack application development experience in a mid-sized environment.
• Experience with .MS SQL Server 2012 and later releases SSRS, .Net., Power BI, Crystal Reports
• Great communication skills, works well within a team, able to bridge the gap between technical and business understanding.
• Good knowledge of the full project development life cycle process.
• Experience with other technologies such as Perl, Java, SSIS, SSAS, MQ a plus
• Experience working in the construction and/or financial domain preferred, specifically asset management, AP/AR, and integration with ERP solutions. (Vista by Viewpoint experience a plus)
• Should be an individual contributor with below skills:
• 1. SSAS – Multidimensional or Tabular modelling using SQL Server Data Tools.
• 2. SSRS – Strong in Report development.
• 3. Power BI – Strong in Report development.
• 4. SSIS - Good Knowledge in SSIS and ETL concepts.
• 5. Database Skills – Very strong SQL and PL\SQL.
