POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as the primary support contact for Epic reporting supporting University Health. Designs, builds, and tests data extracts and reports to requirements that meet end user needs. Responsible for interpreting and transforming data into accurate, consistent, and timely information while balancing the "big picture" strategic vision with day-to-day details. Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including SQL programming and SSIS packages, in a timely and proficient manner. Individual must maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other UH staff and perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the UH policies and procedures.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or other work related field is required. Experience in SQL is required. Experience as an Epic business intelligence analyst or Epic Clarity report writer preferred but not required. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Work experience may be substituted for formal education requirement. Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment testing if not currently Epic certified and in good standing.
