Business Intelligence Specialist jobs in Wilmington, NC

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, execute, and provide support for all BI software processes and functions.
• Develop and maintain BI platforms and applications using Microsoft Visual Studio 201x, including C# Webapp development.
• Support the selection process for new manufacturing software vendors.
• Provide training and support for existing BI software.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and IT teams.
• Ensure the design, development, testing, and support of various BI applications and tools, including those developed in C# and VB.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio 201x, particularly in C# and VB.
• Strong knowledge of web development toolsets and technologies.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle and MSSQL Server.
• Familiarity with ITIL and AGILE processes.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%).
• Experience in developing customer-facing solutions using Microsoft .Net technologies.
• Proficiency in VB.NET and C# programming languages.
• Experience with MVC design pattern for web application development.
• Knowledge of REST API technology.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art web front-end design practices.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar field.
• Previous experience in manufacturing IT is advantageous.
