Business Office Representative

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the efficient operation of the Central Business Office (CBO)
- Accountable for complex payers, aged claims, and special accounts receivable projects
- Adhere to government regulations, payer contracts, and insurance guidelines
- Perform insurance follow-up, resolving open accounts, and appealing claims
- Verify insurance benefits, perform pre-certification as required
- Coordinate and manage various projects and tasks within the office

Requirements:

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer software programs, including web-based programs
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is a plus
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
