Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     In this role, you will be responsible for assisting new and existing clients in solving their capital project needs, generating new clients, supporting existing clients, and advancing the business development process. You will actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on your interactions with prospects.

     

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Lead and support national growth opportunities in the Healthcare Design Market
    • Responsible for communicating regularly with National Healthcare Design Market Lead, Regional Office leadership, other Business Development Leads, and Project Managers
    • Conduct appropriate research to identify target companies/organizations within industry segments denoted in the business unit plan
    • Contacts, qualifies and sets appointments with targets via telephone and electronic means
    • Provides targets with appropriate Haskell marketing material and responses to specific interests identified by targets
    • Visits qualified targets and/or arranges for personal sales calls by appropriate Haskell personnel
    • Prepares qualifications statements and assists in preparing responses to proposals for specific projects
    • Develops and maintains relationships with local and national civic, professional, and economic organizations that are sources of prospects
    • Maintains up-to-date prospect files and electronic databases
    • Develops and manage a public relations program to include marketing and customer outreach
    • Represents Haskell at trade shows, conventions, and professional meetings
    • Take other steps as directed by the VP - Market or Division Lead
    • Attract, recruit, develop, train, and retain high-caliber talent

    Education/Experience:

    • Minimum of a 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, construction marketing, or a related field
    • Industrial manufacturing experience

    Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

    • Solid network of potential clients and economic development contacts 
    • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
    • Excellent sales and customer relationship skills
    • Ability to understand and execute the company vision and values of Team, Excellence, Service, and Trust

    Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

     

    While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
