    Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):

    • Oversee all financial transactions, including managing deposits, petty cash, and resident trust funds.
    • Handle Medicaid interactions, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records.
    • Facilitate the admissions process, guiding families through paperwork and documentation requirements.
    • Ensure all admission paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Generate and distribute monthly statements to residents and responsible parties.
    • Collect payments promptly and efficiently, maintaining clear and open communication regarding billing inquiries.
    • Code invoices accurately, ensuring proper allocation of expenses and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
    • Process invoices in a timely manner, coordinating with vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
    • Prepare and present financial reports to the management team, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
    • Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records in accordance with industry standards.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to financial transactions and resident accounts.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior care or healthcare setting.
    • Strong understanding of Medicaid processes and regulations.
    • Excellent knowledge of financial management, billing, and collections.
    • Proficient in invoicing software and accounting systems.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Effective communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
