Job Type: Full-Time On-site
Responsibilities of (BOM) Business Office Manager:
· Record cash receipts in the proper account.
· Maintain necessary billing and financial information in resident files.
· Maintain resident trust accounts and balances monthly.
· Work efficiently and communicate with corporate billers.
· Coordinate all collection efforts in collaboration with the nursing home Administrator.
· Maintain accurate records of incoming payments with addresses, telephone numbers, etc.; explain bills to residents as necessary and maintain appropriate back-up records.
· Maintain system for recording accounts receivables.
· Knowledge of reimbursement system, allowable services and documentation required to ensure accurate billing.
· Maintain confidentiality of all information.
· Maintains effective communication with residents, families, facility staff and business office staff members.
· Work with residents to qualify for Medicaid.
Qualifications of (BOM) Business Office Manager:
· High school diploma
· Previous Business Office Management experience
