Business Office Managers must have the following:
Two years experience SNF/AL business office experience. As a skilled, driven Business Office Manager, you will:
• Maintain financial files on all residents and ensure all documentation is completed as necessary. • Verify responsible party in PCC has a complete address and phone number for statements and collection calls upon admission.
• Update system on all changes including admissions, discharges, payer changes, and income changes.
• Utilize AR aging report in PCC .
• Attend weekly AR meetings.
• Collections.
• Responsible for accurate recording of entries to Resident Trust Fund
• Competency in basic principles of accounting and bookkeeping.
• Good administrative, managerial, organizational, and planning skills.
• Process, validate, and submit accurate time records and maintain the HR database.
• Verify employment data and backgrounds on job applicants
• Enter into the HRIS system all employment data, payroll, and personal information required
• Update the HRIS system as required with employee data, benefits changes, salary increases, etc.
• Assist in orienting new employees
• Maintain all benefit records including health and dental, life insurance, voluntary policies, PTO balances, ITO balances, and FMLA information Qualifications:
Other duties include screening and interviewing applicants, processing new hire paperwork, maintaining personnel records, and coaching and assisting managers in addressing problems and concerns with staff.
