Responsibilities:
As Business Office Manager you will contribute to the success of our organization’s Accounts Receivable Department. Your work will be instrumental in attaining our organization's goals by ensuring accurate billing, ensuring timely collection of accounts receivables from resident accounts, completing collection calls and documentation on current and past due accounts, Maintaining all aspects of RFMS accounts of residents, meeting with residents and families regarding financial concerns, submitting documentation to Social Security and the State of Nevada regarding resident status and liability and adhering to strict deadlines for billing and reporting. Our organization will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 1-2 years of billing/collection experience in a healthcare setting.
· An Associate/Bachelor's degree is preferred.
· The ability to be assertive with strong communication skills.
· Knowledge of LTC/Skilled Nursing Home payers and eligibility.
· Understanding of Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement and patient liability.
· The ability to deal tactfully and professionally with challenging residents/families.
· Proficiency in PC/Excel/Word, basic math skills, attention to detail, analytic ability, and organization skills are required.
