Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have 3 -5 billing experience in senior skilled living and therapy, both outpatient and inpatient.
- Must have Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance knowledge
- Must have proven experience in timely collections
- Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.
- Must be able to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies/personnel.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other office equipment.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Education Requirements:
- Must have an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in business or finance or related experience in Skilled Living or Healthcare field.
- Degree in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred
Job Duties
- Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
- Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a medical and physical examination.
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility.
- May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
