Our growing business intelligence practice is looking to hire 2-3 experienced consultants to work with our clents in the New York/New England market. Our BI Consultants collaborate with our Fortune 1000 clients to improve their strategic business planning decisions by identifying essential information and implementing database solutions. Praxinet has performed BI-related projects for companies such as Avaya, BMW Financial Services, ANADIGICS, Dendrite International, Verizon, Ocwen Financial, and Constellation Energy.

Responsibilities of BI Consultants include project planning, leading and participating in customer consulting engagements, implementing business intelligence solutions, maintaining project team accomplishments, and participating in pre-sales discovery and sales presentations.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Candidates should be familiar with the following roles:
  Project Leader, Team Leader, Subject-Matter-Expert, Facilitator.
• Must have 2-5 years of hands-on experience with OLAP analysis applications (e.g., Microsoft Analysis Services, OutlookSoft, Hyperion, Cognos).
• Must have financial application knowledge, advanced Excel modeling skills, and an understanding of various approaches to performance management.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, system implementation, full project life-cycle development, and requirements analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Initiative and ability to work independently as well as add value to cross-functional teams
• Willingness and ability to travel
