Interview internal staff and external departments to identify current business processes, workflows, gather data about processes, document, map those processes, and identify areas of potential improvement and increased efficiency for the processes, as well as update Auditor’s Office desktop procedures and policies to match new processes.
- Analyze and document current processes and recommend changes to match capability of new ERP software.
- Able to ask the “what if…” questions and identify the impact and success of proposed changes.
- Assess business requirements and make recommendations to improve processes
- Gather and analyze data; map processes and workflow; identify improvements for process changes.
- Evaluate employee needs, internal workflows, and business processes, then use results to improve or automate processes.
- Develop, research, write, review and maintain department procedures and forms to match new processes and policy.
- Bachelor degree in accounting or related field.
- 2 years’ experience in accounting, business or information systems.
- CBPP Certified Business Process Professional
- Strong analytical background and excellent diagramming and communication skills.
- Understand business processes and map internal workflows.
- Skilled in oral and written communications.
- Proficient in working with computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must pass Criminal Background Check and possess a valid Texas Driver’s License.
