This vision will then be communicated in a clear and detailed design package that includes business requirements, processes and workflow documentation, conceptual database models, use cases and service requirements.• Support the UIT development team with service requests, prioritization and other duties as assigned.• Identify pros and cons, risks and benefits of solution alternatives and make recommendations• Serve as a resource to customers, other Business Analysts, Project Managers, Data Analysts, testers, developers, and othersReviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.As a Business Analyst, you be working closely with leaders, stakeholders, and service providers from the Utah Technical Colleges, the Commissioner’s Office, and University of Utah UIT to plan the IT application support strategy for the technical colleges. You will analyze core business processes, create gap analysis documentation, define workflows, gather requirements, and evaluate available solutions to help service partners solve their technology needs. Working with cross-functional teams, service partners and other IT professionals, you will frame an integrated solution and translate your conceptual vision using new and existing products. This vision will then be communicated in a clear and detailed design package that includes business requirements, processes and workflow documentation, conceptual database models, use cases and service requirements. You will support the UIT development team with service requests, prioritization and other duties as assigned.
